Dave

Dave started his career in 1991, after acquiring a business degree at the University of Natal, at Volkswagen SA. From this pure motor manufacturer arena, he ventured into the wider motor dealer industry where he gained vast knowledge at the F and I Business School in 1998. The F and I Business School is where much of what is known today in the Finance and Insurance space was taught and developed. David, together with Tony and Brad, started AFI in 2009 as the Managing Director steering the company to greater heights.

Tony

Tony started his career as a commercial banker at Barclays bank in 1985 after which he transferred to Wesbank in 1987. Here Tony grew and developed his skills through working with dealers in various management positions, as well as attending various banking courses, management courses and a MDP. His Wesbank career spanned over a period of 10 years after which he was seconded to the F and I Business School in 1997 as Regional Manager and in 2008 he ended his career there as Operations Director. 2009 market the start for Tony at Auto F and I as one of the 3 founders of what it is today - a flourishing UMA.

Brad

The youngest of the three partners, Brad started accumulating his knowledge and expertise in the industry in 1995 at Absa Bank. In 2002 Brad took a position at a leading product supplier serving the Motor industry where he acquired further knowledge not only through close interaction with the dealer, but also getting a very in depth understanding of products and their place in the life of a Motor dealer. When Brad moved to the F and I business school in 2004, he was well entrenched in understanding the dealer, F and I, and the need for products and services that is vital to add value to a dealer. In 2008, together with his 2 friends and colleagues, AFI was born, and is still going strong adding value to the company he is very proud to be part of.
