Should a Tyre become irreparably damaged as a result of a cut, bruise, impact break or puncture we shall credit the Insured with the Sum Insured toward the price of an equivalent new tyre. Damage may be caused by Pot Holes, Bricks, Nails or Broken Glass or anything else.

The policy only covers the cost of the tyre to be replaced up to the maximum benefit as stated and selected when the tyre has suffered irreparable damage, subject to the maximum benefit level for which the premium is being paid.

General Exclusions:

• Damage caused by using the tyre at the incorrect pressure.

• Damage caused by incorrect wheel balance, defective steering geometry / tracking or defective suspension.

• Tyres where the tread depth is below the SA limit when the incident occurs.

• Tyres fitted to vehicles over 3.5 tonnes (GVW), or used for speed racing, speed testing, reliability trials, hire or reward, off-road activities, dispatch or courier services, driving tuition, or agricultural vehicles.

• Loss or damage caused by a road traffic accident, fire or theft.

• Any consequential losses incurred as a result of damage to the insured tyres.

• The cost of repair (if the tyre can be repaired).

• More than the maximum number of claims during the term of the policy.

• Any amount which exceeds the Sum Insured as calculated.
